The farmers market is an initiative that aims to strengthen the local economy and provide healthy food at reasonable prices to citizens. However, through a systemic analysis, we can understand some of the weaknesses and problems that do not allow this initiative to be fully established.  In this project, I analyzed the system in which farmers' markets operate and then applied a critique from the lenses of social equity and environmental sustainability to find opportunities for positive transformation.
